My bro has a non-running 352 and had a 351M given to him. Will they interchange? He's got a t-18 tranny and wants to keep it. He also wants to know if the bellhousings are the same.

nope, 2 very different animals.
I think you can use a different bell-housing to mate the tranny to the 351M. But, you still have to deal with other things like motor mounts and accesory brackets etc.

Ya, the 351M used the same bell as 460 (385 series) motor. Not interchangable with FE.
The 351C used a small block(302-351W) bellhousing. Too many 351 models, and all different.
Sometimes you want to wish it was a GM just so it ALL fits no matter what size engine.
