87's might have the flange hubs that are just funky. Otherwise, they have a nicely designed interior, fuel injection and overdrive transmissions. Check for missing/perished seals on the exterior and engine. None of them are hard to get, but the expense adds up. Regardless of personal opinion, I think all of the engines are pretty good. The 351 is a nice bonus, but not absolutely necessary. (I have a 302) Rear ABS can be problematic in it's old age. I think a lot of people disable it when it gives trouble.
