Was it ever made by Ford?

I was thinking the ultimate truck for my uses would be a Ford 4x4 with a 300 six and a automatic. Were these ever a option from ford? I seem to have a hard time locating any info on it. Perhaps it is just a "wish" truck.

They are around, but most have V8s. I think the most common 4x4s with 300-6s are in the 73-79 model years.

I see a lot of 87-96 f150 4X4 autos. Probably the most common variant of the f150 that I see, so they are out there. I probably see 3 to 1 300 Vs 302 trucks and even less 5.8 F150's.

Well to be perfectly honest I can't drive a clutch due to needing my left hip replaced (too many years of Football and being overweight) But I hope to have that rectified this spring so I may not be limited to a auto!! New hip and Ill be able to drive any clutch around so they say!!
