truck howling???

truck howling???
hi all my 2001 supercrew makes a howling noise from the rear when i let off the brakes in the cold only. i cannot figure this out for the life of me. i almost sounds like a bull horn or somethin. any ideas??? thanks

Truck Howling
Take it to the shop and have the rear end checkout, I have a 1998 and the rear end wen't out on it.

Does it have rear disk brakes? If so they have been known to make a "howling" noise. If no disks have the rear end checked!

yes it does have rear disk brakes. and it only happens when its below 30degrees
