I was wondering if anyone had a chip on their truck for a 2.9 v6 and if so what kind of horsepower gain did you see. Jet? Hypertech? onthers?

 

Probably not too many chipped 86's, from what I've read here is that very few 86's are even chipable, would depend on the PCM code. You might want to find it and post it so Ken can tell you if there is even a chip option for your motor. If it is chipable, the diablo chip available at motorhaven is the way to go. Click on "PARTS SHOP" in the upper right corner of your screen to go there. Your PCM code should be a 4 digit code, 3 letters followed by a number, like mine is OLD2. Good luck.
