My father called me and he's asked for FTE help. He's says that he's getting a "High Air Inlet Temp" light on his dashboard. He says the truck runs "like a scalded ape" but the light is bothering him.
I did a few searches for "High Air Inlet Temp" on this forum and came up with nothing.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is this a problem that can be fixed without going to the "stealership?" Any solutions, suggestions or wishes for good luck would be greatly appreciated.
the intake air temp sensor is (or was) mounted at the bottom of the stock air box. if the stock box was removed to put the k&n in then that sensor is probably just floating around somewhere under the hood and maybe fell down close to the exhaust or something. if it is still in the proper position then it may be bad

That looks like the problem. Me and my dad say "Thanks!" for the help.
