belt slip

does anyone else hear their serpentine belt slip when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear around 5500 rpm. my 03 5.4 screw only has 24,000. should i been planning to replace the belt already?

It is pretty common. Not really a problem, it's just the crank pulley slows faster than the accessories when the rpm's drop causing a short squeal.
