2000 Ford Ranger

I just purchased a 2000 ford ranger that might have been hit in the front-end. I had it lined up and was wondering where I might find the specifications to X the chassis out to make sure that is in alignment before I ruin the new tires.

I can't remember the name of the manual but call your local body repairman and ask if he/she can tell you the specs or maybe even measure the specs for you. Some may even do it free of charge depending on where you love and who you know.

I would have thought if you had a 4 wheel alignment done and it was done correctly this would have shown if the chassis was out of whack........or am I wrong ??

Thanks everyone for the information, I took the truck to a reliable front- end shop and the chassis checked out fine but I did need to have an alignment and things seem fine so far.
