Question 373 Diff Question

I have an '04 CrewCab Long bed Dually with a 3.73:1 differential. I was told when I bought the truck new that Ford sold the 373 without "Limited Slip" and that if I wanted a "Limited Slip", I would have to buy a 4.10:1 Limited Slip. The 373 was the deal maker---I wanted it regardless of whether it was "Limited Slip" or not. Now I wonder if it is standard (non-limited slip) because of a incident that occured on vacation. I was backing my fifth wheel into a parking spot when the left dually got into a long mud slick (about three inches of mud and no gravel). Rather than being stuck, I backed through the mud hole onto solid ground. My question is this---are the 373 differentials limited slip like the 410s?

On my 03 F250 the 3.73 was standard with limited slip being an option which I have. I didn't know that F-350 duallys came with 3.73, I thought they were standard 4.10 becuase when I went to order a 02 dually you could only get 4.10.

Look on the axle tag should have a "L" in the code like "3L73" if it is a limited slip.
