Confused about nerf bars

I am looking to put step tubes on my truck for less than $300.00. That leaves me with Nasta, Bully, Wildcat, and Grizzley so far as my reasearch has taken me. Any recomendations? I would prefer the step to be as low as possible. I would like to see daylight between the truck and steps so it does not look lower. Thanks for any help.

Do a search on ebay for f250, and you will find all kinds of nerf bars for these trucks. And just about anything else you could think of.

I guess I didn't make myself clear. I have already spent hours researching this and those names are the ones I can afford. I would like to know if anyone has one of them and would reccomend them. Westin are too much money. Yes I looked on Ebay but was hoping to get an honest opinion here. Thanks

Check in Summit magazine, I think I paid about a $150 for mine for my 02 Crew Cab. I dont remember what company they were from. If you have looked there already in your research... than I am of no help.

I have NASTAs. Bought them from a local dealer (about $250). The attractive thing to me was the all stainless construction. I don't have a picture of the truck, but if I draw a line between the front and rear hubs on my truck, that is about the centerline of the bar. I have stock 235/85 tires. Installation took 1/2 hr or less by myself.

I have the factory nerf/steps on my F250SC 4x4.

I'm going to the dealership to look at a Ford GT this week. While there I'm going to take a good look at the factory running board steps. I think I like them better than the tube steps. I might be inclined to sell my factory nerf steps. If they're what you're looking for.

I appreciate the offer but I'm partial to the type that return 90 degrees and appear to go back under the cab.If I 'm not mistaken the Ford tubes are pretty much straight with a little bend on the end. Not sure about the 05 though. Thanks
