One side lower!

On my '95 Ranger XLT (2wd) my rear driver side is lower then the rest of the truck. The only thing i can think of is the fuel tank is there. Is that what it is? Does anyone else have this problem? How can I straighten her out? Thanks in advance!

(throw all this out the door if its been in a bad wreck before)measure all 4 corners to make sure one side isn't messing up the others. If indeed that rear is the worst, its probably gonna need a leaf spring.

I had a similar problem with my 2001 where the left rear was higher. After measuring we also found the right front was lower but you really couldn't see it. A torsion bar adjustment leveled the whole thing out. I don't know if this will work for your problem or not.

I had a similiar problem on my old 88 ranger 4x4. Except it leaned to the passenger side. I changed the front coil springs with heavy duty ones and when that didn't work I then switched sides on them. No effect! I installed a extra leaf spring in the rear on both sides. No effect. Prior to all of this the truck had been rear ended by a Lincoln Mark VII that hit off to the passenger side. All the measurements said the truck was true after it was "fixed" I even tried putting rubber spacers in the front coil spring. It just chewed them up and spit them out. The truck drove fine except that it leaned a little to the passenger side. Drove me nuts, since I always talked the truck up and people knew that it bugged me since it leaned a little. Maybe I should've checked frame height at the rear of the leaf springs. The accident may have tweaked them. But I assumed that was fixed when the frame was straightned.

Same truck, same problem. Found that one side has 1 fewer leaves in the spring set. I was advised that I should replace the springs on both sides at once either new or from salvage.

Had same prob with an 87 Ranger S 2wd. driver side looked like it was sagging. Got a new set of leaf springs and that took care of it.

check the springs but if that isn't it, check the body bushings holding the bed, mine has the same problem and this is all it is.
