problems with 93' f250 2wd
i had my truck for almost 5 months, just up until beginning of november, it ran great considering it's got 193,000 miles on it, but in november, i started getting somewhat of a burning plastic/rubber smell coming from the engine area, was going to change the belt, but i dont think that is the problem, recently i was driving down the road, the check engine light would come one for a couple minutes and go off for a couple minutes, it did this for about an hour of driving, i'm a sub-contractor so i use it quite a bit, also the engine is putting off a wierd noise when i hit the gas, then it oges away, it ran fine and sounded fine until not too long ago, and i can just tell that the engine sounds different by the extra noise it's putting out. was just wondering if anyone could help me out with this. would be greatly appreciated thanks!
