Question Changing lifters

In order to quell my lifter tick, I was considering just putting in new lifters and possibly pushrods. Will this work? Can I just change the lifters keeping the original pushrods in place or will there be a clearance issue?

This all came about because I'm going to change my head gasket and I figured that while I'm in there I might as well do some other maintenance at the same time.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Aaron

yes you can keep original push rods if their in good shape. but when you take them out just keep them in the same order so they get back in the same place. i hope that made some since.....
