4x4 light

Since the new clutch was put in this last time (the transfer case was removed for this), the 4x4 light won't come on when stopped. It will flicker when I'm driving, but not stay on. Anyone have this happen before?

I checked the plug at the transfer case and it was alright, nothing was loose. Is there a sensor in the transfer case for the light? I'm not familiar with how that works. Is it just screwed into the transfer case? I would check the light in the dash, but the previous owner must have glued the windshield wiper **** on and I don't feel like breaking it off right now.

All info is appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe the filament is broken on the bulb and it is working once in a while when you hit a bump or something (filament connecting again) ??

there a trick to get that wiper **** off... there s clip behind that ****... u ll need a hnager or some kind of pin to reach there and it ll slide off... its kinda of hard to explain but if u look closely right behind the know itself u ll see some kind of clip , so good luck... and hey i would try the blub first on that 4x4
