Need help with "possessed" odometer

My green odometer display on our 99 Expedition has three modes; standard brightness, dim, and blank. Has anyone else experienced this? What is the best way to repair or replace it?

get used to it! Or, you can research this site on how to re-solder the fault that causes this in most Expeditions prior to 2002.

Cold solder joint on the back of it.

There is another thread here with the link on how to fix it.

I enjoy mine.
