this is my first post and would like to say this is a great site for information. I wanted to ask, where i can get the factory radio harness that plugs into the factory radio? when i went to get a cd player installed at a shop they cut the factory harness off and wired it with the new cd player. everything is a mess right now and nothing seems to function right.the truck had the factory head unit before and the door panels say premium sound on it. I dont think its a mach system because i have an xlt and have no sub. sometimes the sound plays on the passenger side and if you put the volume louder on the cd player the driver said speakers kick in. the whole install is crappy I also had them put in a dvd player in the dash so i have two decks that are in the factory spot. the dvd player doesnt even work, and one of the headrest montor sometimes shows video and sometimes it doesnt. as you can tell im in a real mess.I also forgot they changed all the speakers by breaking the speaker grills off and not taking the door panel off. what I want to do is find all the factory harness that are suppose to be behind the radio and rewire them back, and put everything back to stock. sorry for the long post but hopefully you guys can help me out .

 

Have you tried to take it back to the installers and have them fix things so it works or restore back to stock. I sounds like they are real hashers. Hope you did not pay to much. You might try a wrecking yard for the door panels and harnesses.

its been over a year now since everything been installed. I rarely drive the car, but i took it to the stereo shop plenty of times and they always seem to mess more things up. My dash bezel is cut up because they tryed to fit two decks inside there. everything just looks real ugly and i rather do it myself. thanks for the reply

 

I feel for you, there are a couple of vendors on the site who have many Expedition part, can't remember who they are but look around try a seach and see what you can come up with.
