No, You need to either have the I-beams realigned by someone who knows what they are doing, or you need to buy a set of dropped I-beams(yes, they do make them) along with a proper set of drop coils.
its an 81 f-100 and from stock i just heated the springs until i got the drop i wanted the tire size is p235/75r15 on a chromed 15 in rim. i the back i took out two leafs but then i installed new shocks and the coils from them in the back and it helped the ride but the front end is starting to get to the point.
thanks
no alignment for you.
spend the money and get new front coils and drop ibeams and do it the right way.
I used the djm dream beams on my 1985 f150. i did the 3in. front drop and axel flip in the rear and it looks awsome. i also got my alignment done and it drives perfect.
I talked to a rep from DJM not long ago, he said the "dream beams" are marketed for the F-150 but WILL fit the F-100...no need to modify anything else.
Depending on your truck's year, they'll send you the right ones.
i was vary happy with my djm dream beams, and i did alot of research before buying them and found them to be the most liked. but any thing you go with i'm sure will look good. the only complaint i have is the strange ticking noise that happens after i lowered it.
