I am haveing a ungoing problem with this , I have a 99 f250 heavy duty and when I hit a bump at any speed I get a good vibration and roaring sound. When I hit another one it quits most of the time and if it dont it stops when I come to a stop.I checked aliginment OK,rotated tires OK,check tire pressure OK,put new shocks OK,still have it.So I went to Ford they said I need new hubs the bearings are bad. Thousand dollars later vibration gone, on month later vibration is back.I talk to another friend of mine and he said he had three sets of hubs in 8o thousand miles , could these be bad hubs? Does Ford hubs have a problem? I also check my brakes and they are fine, has anyone here had this problem its driving me crazy.
Thanks HIram
The only thing you have not mentioned is ball joints. Have you had them checked?
How many miles on your truck?
Also these bearing assemblies are not the greatest, but some of us, with '99 models, are still on the originals. Unless they were installed wrong I don't think they should be going away so soon.
