No 4x4 low

No 4x4 low
Hello, I am new in here and already have a question. I have an 02 Sportrac with Four wheel drive. I bought this truck new and have never had any trouble. I went to put it in 4x4low and nothing happens. It will go into 4x4 high just fine every time. I put the truck in Nuetral just like it says and flip switch to 4x4 low and nothing. No light and the truck does not go into 4x4 low. I have visually checked all fuse's and they all appear to be ok. This truck has never been obused or mistreated, and 4x4 has alway's worked fine. It just don't work all of a sudden. Anyone out there have a clue as to what might be wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks..........

PUT your foot on the brake pedal, and have the engine running in neutral. If that does not work, with your foot on the brake, just wiggle your shifter up and/ or down a bit not putting it into gear, and it should engage.

4X4 Low fixed
Thanks for the info, I did finally take it to the Ford dealer over the holiday's. They were very thorough. Ended up being the 4X4 module. Wasn't too bad, just 244.00 I was expecting a lot worse. Works fine now though and the mechanic said it was probably from not being used often enough. That I should engage 4X4 every so often just to keep things limbered up. Thanks again
