windshield frostin on inside

Does anyone have a problem with the inside of their windshield frosting up when it is cold out? I noticed this a couple of times last winter and it did it tonight. My truck is a '94 f-150. Is there anything I can do to cure this problem?

Turn the defroster on maybe? Move to a warmer climate?

Seriously, I don't understand the question at all. This happens to everyone.

Is this while driving, after the truck has warmed up? Is it really frost, or is it more like a steam? I'd be checking the heater core for leaks at this point. Do you have to top off the rad on even a semi-regular basis? This would be a good indication. Last thought, check your rad level, and top off with anti-freeze, as well as make sure your over-flow is topped up to the cold level when cold, and that the hose isn't plugged, replace the rad cap to ensure proper pressure as well. Are you getting heat out of the heater at the current time? Things to think about. Loss of heat is usually rad level to low or heater core/hoses are blocked. Give us more information....frosting of the inside of the windshield will happen normally in cold weather, especially if you sit in the truck while it warms up(your breath is humid, and will create the frost) or in high humidity, cold climates like I live in(Winnipeg, humidity is average 80%+)

THis is when the truck has been sitting. The magical defroster works when you turn it on and the warmer climate is out of the question. I have never had another vehicle do this on the inside before and was wondering if the windshield wasn't sealed very well or something. The truck will bake you out after a couple of minutes so loss of heat isn't a concern.

Could just be you've got wet floor carpeting, or something silly like that. Do you notice any drips from the windshield area during rain storms?
