Question

fuel pumps

Hey folks,

I have a 87 ranger 2.9 L with a two fuel pump system. If the HP Fuel pump is not working does it mean the one in the tank will not work also?

If there is a problem in the wiring harness, then likely both pumps won't work. If the problem is within the HP pump itself, than the tank pump should still work, but obviously won't provide enough pressure for the engine to run.
