1986 2.9 fuel problem
okay...i have a 1986 ranger 2.9 manual...it has 2 tanks...last year i was running the rear tank for weight in the back and it would start dying on me going down the road, and then it just wouldnt run on the rear tank anymore.now its doing the same thing with the center tank...it will start fine, and then ill be going down the road and it will just lose power and die.....then when i try to restart it, sometimes it will start right back up, but sometimes i turn the key and i hear the relay click but the high pressure pump on the frame rail wont buzz....if i let it sit for a while it usually will start back up...im not sure if it could be the fuel pump or a wire ...or maybe even the computer...any suggestions?
