Is it just me or is it like pulling teeth to find the Chilton Guide for Rangers?
Not that I have total faith in the usefulness of Chilton Guides anyway but it'd be nice to have around --- I think the right one for my truck is lumped in with a bunch of others, like 91-99 Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer or something. Amazon.com has it for $25, but I can't fathom why 'cause the rest of 'em seem to be like $9.
Don't waste your money on the 98 on up ranger manuals from chilton or haynes. I bought them both and now use them as toilet paper. The most common phrase in those manuals is "They are all the same". They took the older manuals and stuck a new cover on it and called it good. They are pretty useless.....
I bought some manuals that Ford uses in their shops from ebay. These manuals sell for over a $100.00 a piece and I paid $10.00. Do yourself a favor and check ebay out.
