Something to consider, obsiouly it has a lot of friction with the new rings, you havent forgotten to break the rings in have you? I broke my rings in by going in high gear from 35-55 full throttle about 10 times. Run a compression test too to see what ya got.
Good point. When the new rockers get here and I put 'em on, I'll definately be driving it and breaking in rings. Until then, it sits in the driveway. I dont need to break any valvetrain components due to impatience.
Naa, I've used it for years and have yet to have a problem with it. Besides, the particles are too small to stop up anything but a pinhole leak, which is exactly what I have. I used it for years in my 360 and never had a problem.
I'm not talking about the block seal stuff, I wouldn't use that. This is the stuff with tiny aluminum particles.
I've been thinking about taking the plunge to EFI for years. I have a couple questions about the Holley system, if you don't mind.
First off, how easy is it to adjust the tables in the fuel map?
How many parameters in the fuel curve can you control? Does the Commander module interface to one or more 02 sensors for closed loop info? Can it also conrtrol timing with the right distributor?

You need a PC compatible laptop to adjust 'em. With their program, it's VERY simple to adjust. In fact, you can do it driving down the road. Just a few clicks, type in the number, and you've got it. Or, you can select a range and perform math functions on it. For instance, if its too rich in one area, you can select that area and type *.9, and it will automatically multiply that area by .9. Really quite simple.
