the heat riser spring on my 64 manifold is broken.to open up both sides and not run the exhaust through the intake,should the riser arm point up or down?thanks for your help.........wayne
Most people just remove the riser, unless you are using it in very cold weather, it should be no problem.
I live in Tacoma, Wa and my 64 starts and runs fine on cold days, maybe have to leave the choke closed a minute or two more, but runs fine when warm, using your trucl in Louisiana should be no problem without the riser my self, I would just remove it.
