I have a 2001 F150 SuperCrew with a 5.4L. i got a K&N Filter and a Hypertech programmer. i have no idea on what exhaust system to get. I want sound when i beat on it and when i start off and i dont really care if I get highway drone. Anyone have an opinion?

Gibson is quiet. Borla is high quality. Flowmaster is good if you like the sound. Straight pipes roar.

Have you thought about having a local guy do the exhaust for you? Just as good of quality, supporting the local economy, cheaper for you - and you can even maybe "try" some of hte mufflers out a bit.

I think the super 40 sounds great. I have a delta flow 40 and it sounds good also. Neither one of these resonates much in the cab.

I'd by either one of these mufflers and take it to the shop and have them run the pipes how you want them
