Alright guys, we're going to have a contest for our Chapter logo. The rules of this are pretty simple. You must include the official FTE logo and that logo can not be altered. Obviously you can not include any copyrighted materials, such as Ford logos.
Right now I'm not going to put a date for when all entries must be entered in by. I am kind of hoping that someone in the Virginia Chapter has some kind of clue how to do graphic design because I'm not very good at it.
The logo that is created will obviously become property for FTE to be used by our Chapter and FTE in order to raise funds through t-shirts and stickers. Just needed to clear that up before we got questions on if they got a split on any money raised through that logo.

Personally I would be against any confederate slogans becvause we don't want to upset or discourage anyone from joining, although I am proud of my confederate ancestory(sp) i don't think it relates to FTE. Maybe something with the mountains or the beach, I don't know how to post any logos but maybe someone could pm me with instructions
ok what ever it is i dont think it should be cartonie.... i have seen other logos for thing and the cartonie ones look so chiledis..... they should have spell check on thins thing... (not that anyone would use it)
I'm not going to approve any design with the Confederate flag. As a Southern raised man of Southern heritage I know all too often that those who wave the flag in name of heritage often give side glancing "knowing" winks to each other. I will not have FTE inbroiled in controversy such as this nor should black members feel unwelcome or excluded. Please save your opinions about the flag for offline discussion. Lets move on.
OK, I have looked top to bottom on this site, but I can't find the official FTE logo to use for this. Don't laugh, its not funny But I did find some grammar errors of all things

there is a general chapter discussion forum that is a good source of info for questions like this.
And if you can look at some off your fellow state chapters to see how they go about doing things, .....design, stores and such, it will be helpful for you. There are serveral chapters that have logo's , take a look at what some of them look like.
Be sure that your logo is approved by the Webmaster before you use it.
Heres a link to the FTE logo, it is protected by copyrights, so don't change it.Good luck .
Thank you for the hi-res image. We have a poll underway in the Ohio/Kentucky chapter and will need to create a hi-res 'final' logo for the printers. This will do juuuust fiiiiine. There are other threads discussing this same issue, maybe we should find a more central location for this logo link.
