Stainless Exhaust
I am looking to buy an stainless steel, 4" exhaust for my F250 SD CC 4X4. I have seen stuff on,MAGNAFLOW FORD POWERSTROKE MONSTER EXHAUST. Does anyone know anything about this system or have any input..

Magnaflow makes a decent exhaust system. There's a good amount of guys that run them on this site. I've been saying this forever now, but as soon as I get the money I'm putting a Hog Perfomance exhaust on my truck. 4" turbo back, T-304 stainless steel. MotorHaven sells them for right around $600. One of the best prices for T-304 SS out there. Everybody that I've talked to that has one said the fit was perfect, awesome quality, and great sound. Hope this helps.

i have a magnaflow aluminized turbo back on my truck and i must say that it sounds awesome. it was on the truck when i bought it last year, but it appears to be high in quality as well. obviously the s.s. would be even better.

Keep in mind you won't see a big hp increase with exhaust, but yeah it will sound good and lower your egt's. I thought this should be brought up since I have heard of a few people being disapointed.

Another good thing about Stainless is that if you do get high EGT's it's more heat resistant. 304 isn't the best Stainless in the world but it's more than suitable for a truck exhaust.

Yes, I'm still running the "modified" exhaust. I don't have it hung up any more like before at the track, it's back to it's stock position, just with a 1/4 inch gap where the sawzall cut through. I've had about 45 people come over to ask me where I had my exhaust done! But that was before I laughed and told them what I did. Maybe Santa will bring me something..... how have you been bro?

Thanks guys I went ahead and got one... They are on e-bay for $440.00 in stainless steel. That is with a 3.5" down pipe and if you want a 4" downpipe it is $500.00 with free shipping.. That is UPS ground..
