Post I need help finding a part

I've got a 1989 ranger 4x4 with a fuel injected 2.3L inline 4cylinder.
I recently(lastnight) had to replace the hot battery cable from the silenoid switch to the battery, but while in the process of doing that i noticed the negative battery cable is pretty bad off as well, but when i went to the parts store (advanced auto parts) they didn't have what i needed. My negative battery cable has two wires(one going to a inline fuse and the other grounding to the front clip) coming out of the clamp and also has an extra wire running into the connector where the cable bolts to the underside of the starter. Now my question is has anyone had to replace this cable and where did you get it, hopefully without having to go to the dealership. I don't want to have to do to much custom work on something like this since it's my daily driver. Any options are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
LR

I was able to find one at the parts, it had two pigtails in addition to the cable, Exide I think. I never used it because I had a new battery clamp that you can clamp the wires into so I just cut off the old clamp, cleaned up the wires and clamped them into the new clamp. You have to have those small wire connected, they are important for the computer.
