Exclamation tranny question

I can slightly hear a High pitch chattering/crackling noise coming from my tranny on my 94 F-250 with E4OD, 2WD with 125000 miles. It happens when i get about 90% to full throttle at any speed or gear. It has a good positive shift and doesn't ever slip, Its got no hesitation, shaking, or chatter. I scanned for codes, none were found. The fluid was still red and no burnt smell before I changed filter/fluid reciently. It had no shavings, just normal metal dust was wiped off magnet.

Check the tranny mounts, exhaust brackets, dust cover, and even the muffler/cat converter to see if they are loose. Sometimes a "chirp" can be metal against metal at a certain RPM.

I'm not ruling out the tranny. I just replied given your remark:

You said nothing about RPM's.

I'll give it more thought, now.
