00 expedition elec probs
i recently installed 4-10" subs with a 1100 watt amp. ever since the install of the subs and amp i have been having problems with my dome lights always being on very dim. whenever the rpms on the truck go up so does the brightness of the lights. it has blown the fuse that controls the dome lights, and windows, several times. it also kicked on the airbag light. i also have a dvd player and tv in the dash that was installed about 2 months before i had these problems.

Check your body ground connection to your battery. I often remove the undersized OEM ground strap and run my own ground cable from the battery to a common chassis ground point under the dash near my radio etc. I then run all of my audio equipment grounds to the same point. Never use your vehicle body to ground your audio power equipment.
