Blower heater switch cable
Okay, guys I need your help. My blower switch only worked on high and thats it. I checked the switch for continuity, and it seems to work. I then check the cable pluge, and it's fried. I would like any schematics or procedures, or just some help in replacing the cable. I have Chilton, but it doesn't go in depth on this subject. Is to difficult to do??

Maybe I'm just wasting my time, but on the 80-86 models, there is a resistor that determines the speed of the blower motor. If it goes bad, the blower will only operate on high. I don't know if this applies to your model, but maybe you should look into it. I don't think the blower works off the cable. I could be wrong.
