hey guys, since ive installed my a/f ratio guage my van runs great through cruising speeds but when you accell it leans way out, almost to the point where the guage wont read it. now i was wondering if anyone knows of bigger fuel injectors and a universal fuel pressure regulator. as for fuel pump...taurus sho maybe? i know its crazy to fix up a van but its so much fun to watch peoples faces when you light up the tires...

First, check to make sure that your fuel pressure is dropping under hard acceleration. This may be tricky, since in-cab fuel pressure gauges are not easy to install and get working properly. I would expect that that kind of lean-out would cause the engine to knock.
If the pressure is indeed dropping, then your fuel pump is really the only thing you need to replace to get the pressure back up to specs. If you want (and can use) more capacity, then go for an aftermarket regulator with a bigger pump. I would check the suppliers for Ranger or Explorer souper-uppers. They might have bigger injectors too.
im really not sure whats causing it, maybe a maf is throwing off my delivery? i dont know a thing about the sensors and things on this van. it still runs strong but when its at lower rpms and i get into the gas, not even stomping on it, the guage goes all the way red (lean) then its completely normal after i get back to cruising. if it was the fuel pump wouldnt i have other problems? as for fuel pressure guage, wouldnt it drop a little if i routed a guage inside the cab? ive found some ranger/broncoII injectors that are a little bigger but not much. ill check out the pressure thing and see how it stands up, any other ideas for the meantime? thanks for the help.
Well for some good info on the fuel system for a 3.0 check out http://rogueperformance.com/WelcometoFredland.html Anyways for the rest of your question do not put on bigger injectors without buying a custom computer chip, otherwise the engine will not run right. Also have you done any modifications to the engine?
