Wondering if anyone wuold have any insight into my problem.
Driver-side rear flasher does not work. Bulb is good. Dashboard indicator goes to steady green arrow when in the left turn position.
I checked the voltages at the bulb connection and they appear to be good. 9.5V when no blicker signal applied (not sure why there is any voltage at all, but the right side is the same). When I attempt to turn on the left blinker, I get ~11.5V(probably full battery voltage). These numbers are the same as the right side when compared.
If I take the right rear bulb out, I get the same behavior on the right side, ie dashboard indicator goes constant on.
The next thing that I am goin to try is replace the relay. Not sure why that might help, but I am out of thoughts.
Don't understand the 9 volts either. In this situation I would try a new flasher first. Yes I understand the other side works but I would try it anyway. Next would be the switch its self. Use a wiring diagram and test inputs and outputs. If the test light flashes on the wire going to the left rear it would sound like a bad wire somewhere. No power would be the switch.

It's the bulb...bulbs have more than one filament for the tail lights and they sometimes look like they are good when they aren't...If the indicator is not flashing then the bulb is blown.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Jan-02 AT 03:20 AM (EST)]if it's the back bulb thats not workking... replace the front blinker bulb! and vise versa! on same side, unless someone crossed the wires L/R... I know it sounds crazy, but it's all on the same circut, this happens once the fillament breaks... i think, i had this problem.. i eventualy replaced all my blinker bulbs..., DO that!hahhah i hope i helpped icq/mail me if it workked!
