need answers
recently purchased a 1949 ford f-6. it is currently set up as a gas tanker with a 3 division single tank. appears to have been used by a TEXICO dealer. I.D. plate under the hood reads as follows--------97HT*199615*ser.no. RTC branch ?
I.D. plate in glove box is as follows--------15,500 lbs. model-9H8TH ?
i plan on a complete restoration job so i need as much info. as possible.if anyone out there can interpit any of these numbers i certainly would appreciate the effort.
