Not exactly sure about that. Somewhere near the fuseblock I think. The chime going off by itself though is usually because the wire broke the attaches to the key cylinder. You can cut the wire to silence it if you want. If you pull the shroud from around the column you will see it. Black wire ( I think)with a small plastic piece, when the plastic breaks, it grounds and sets off the chime. If you cut it, it will need a new clockspring to replace it.
