Power steering

Hey guys, I've got another question. I converted my 66 CC/SB to power steering and automatic. The coversion actually went fairly well and, when complete, it makes a world of difference. The only concern I have is that when I raise the front end and turn the wheels without the motor running, it pushes power steering fluid out of the resivoir. I haven't seen this before and don't know it if supposed to do that or I have a problem. Any input would be appreciated.

I did the same conversion on my 65. It sounds like you either have some air in the steering box or you have too much fluid in the pump. It took me 30 min. to get all the air out of mine and even then it still burps now and again. I hope this helps. Good luck.
