Installing clearance lights on 2005 SD

Has anyone installed new clearance lights on a 2005 F250 Lariat? I've used the post that was titled "f250 clearance light install" but I have run into a road block. I've gotten the headliner down and access to the passengers side kick panel but I have not been able to locate the plug for the wiring harness to plug into. I got all the parts from Ford but no instructions. There doesn't seem to be any plug to tie my harness into. The one post I looked into was a 2003 or 2004 SD with the overhead console with temp and compass so it looked like it replaced the existing one for this. In my case the only wires overhead are for the rear view mirror and the vanity mirrors. I have the truck torn apart and I'm about to put it all back together because I can't find where this plugs into. Any wire savy experts who would like to chime in and help a polock out would be greatly appreciated. The snap rivets look like they would fit better on the drivers side because there are holes that line up. They do line up on the passenger side but an existing harness for the mirrors makes the fit very tight. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's cold outside today.
