Anyone know where to get a parts manual/catalog for the '93 F series?
I have parts catalogs for the bikes (Harley sells them), for my '75 Corvette (knew a Chev parts counter guy and he got a paper one for me before they went to microfische). I find parts catalog exploded views invaluable for whatever I'm working on. Many time the exploded view gives me a better idea of how to work on something than the shop manual. It is also very valuable when I can bring in a copy of the page when I'm ordering parts. It stops the "they don't make it any more" comments just because the parts counter person can't find the correct drawing in the catalog.
As an alternate does anyone know of a web site where exploded views with part numbers for the F series can be found?
You might pickup a service manual on e-bay. Sometimes I think you can find some there. In the repair info. section on Autozone's website there are some exploded diagrams. Don't know about Ford part #'s on Autozone site. There is a company called Helm Inc. that sells the service manuals. This is where I purchased mine when I bought my truck new. There was an order form in the manual packet that came with my truck for Helm,Inc. Also, there is a subscription based service,$25 for the first vehicle per year, called alldatadiy.com that has basically the service manual online. It has exploded's,TSB'S (Technical Service Bulletins) and Ford part numbers.
thanks for that info Guzzler. I have the Helm service manuals. I was hoping to find a source for the actual parts catalogs with the exploded views. I suspect it may not be available on paper but a CD would do. I'll take a look at alldata.
I got mine (for a 1991) off of ebay. I do have a 1993 set too. Just type in "1993 ford parts manual" and see what comes up. It took me a while before I finally found a set; have to be patient--these books aren't for sell through Helm and are hard to come buy.
