Question Help needed with 72 F150 Neutral Safety Switch

Hello all I am new to the FTE but would appreciate some help. I have read other simular problems with the 72 f-150 neutral safety switch, 1)where is it located 2)how can the problem be fixed 3) How do you make a remote start switch? Thank-you for any light shed on this problem

Welcome aboard, TC.

A. There is a specific forum for the 67-72 trucks - you will get better answers there.
B. The neutral start switch is located on the steering column just under the dash.
C. You never said what the problem was, but you can adjust the closing on the switch.
D. All a remote starter switch does is short between the two small terminals on the starter relay. I use a screw driver, but most switches clip wires to these terminals, and short them using some sort of momentary switch -

On Edit:
Remote starter switch should short between the positive battery lead and the smaller terminal marked "S" - not the two smaller terminals
