auxillary tank install
I'm going to install a tank in the bed of my 02 350, I would like to hook it up to be gravity fed. Is connecting to the filler tube the best way to do this? or to the vent tube?

What kind of tank are you going to install? I found one a while back, was a little pricey but it had a nifty little computer that would add in and would re-calibrate the fuel gauge in the dash to show total fuel, you could also look at the computer display and it would tell approx. gallons left in each tank.

The tank I have has a toolbox on top and 50 gallons. I have had a gravity flow tank before but it was already installed in truck. I like it that way because when the dash guage starts to move , then I know the aux. tank is empty.

curiously, I have a 105-gal bed-tank with a bright red "DO NOT CONNECT TO THE FUEL SYSTEM" label. Is that a universal DOT thing, or just particular to my state? The way I have it now is running through an electric pump (portable filling station.)
