Hello Everybody!!

I am really pleased to have run across this great! web site and to have access to all of the expertise and experience available.I have owned alot of vehicles in my 52 years and still cry when I think back on some that I let go! I have been a FORD Truck owner and home mechanic for over 30 years and just can't bring myself to stray from the Ford fold. I now have a 1992 Ford F-150 XL Custom pickup with the awesome 300 L6 that I have had since new with currently 161,000 miles and going strong! This forum has helped me from time to time discover some of the frailities and nusiance problem solutions near and dear to our trusty and often dependable trucks; and since I have always and still do all of my own mechanic work this site is indeed a valuable resourse for me.
I look forward to contributing what ever I can to help any and all of the loyal Ford Truck owners out there and will thank you all in advance for the help I know I will find here as needed!
Thanks for all of your time and effort to help make this site what it is. Happy Holidays to all...and... keep on Ford Trucking!! Big Six forever!!!!

aspaceintime... in a Ford Truck!!

Welcome ! Sure agree with your view of the 300-6... This is my second
'79 F-150 with the 300 ( the first I replaced its tired 351M with the six---lot
of work, but worth it). My first truck was a '66 F-100 with the 240-6.
Enjoy the site and good Holidays to you, also. JR

WELCOME to the site, please read the Guidelines… Check out the list of forums and make sure you read the headings and Read First: notices in each forum.

...The FTE board is HUGE! We want users to be able to find answers to their questions so it is organized into many areas and search tools are provided.
Please take the time to look around and check out the many forums. While you are surfing through the different sections, you will find the appropriate place to post your questions.

Enjoy FTE

Welcome Aspaceintime. This site is a wealth of info and it sounds like you will have lots to offer. When I joined earlier this year, I combed through the various forums for months before I even made a peep! Enjoy! I agree also about the 300 I6. I have had a few trucks with that motor, carbed and fuel injected. Some of my buddies usually assumed I had a small V8 because they performed so well. Take care,
Eff One Fifty.
