Squeaky Brakes
I have a low mile 18000 2000 ranger. The brakes constantly squeak when I use them. The dealer says this is normal but it is very annoying. They always squeak when using the brake. It is rather embarissing. Any help to get it to stop or to get dealer to fix would be appreciated.

Brake sqeak every time they are applied is not normal, some noise once in awhile is OK. It sounds like the pads might be glazed. In you owners manual Ford does get close to saying this on page 107. Take it back and tell them to fix it, if they give you the it's normal thing ask them to let you drive a similar vehicle to confirm the noise is normal, which it's not. The other place you could go is say you are concerned that they are not operating right and you are concerned about having an accident. Since you have documented the problem, the recepts you have gotten from them, this would leave them in a bad position if you did have one which I hope you don't. Hope this helps a bit.
