From 73 to 77 with the 2 piece grill inserts there were several different optional sets dependant on what model the truck was , a F150 Custom for intsance did not have the same ones as a Ranger or XLT .

That last truck is ruined in my eyes. they couldnt have even put a front clip that remotely flowed with the rest of the picture. maybe if it was chopped...nah there's no recovery.

all ford enthusiasts should drive with their lights on for the next week to pay our respects to that murdered truck..... ...thats someone with way too much time on their hands.....i might fab a 76 front end on a new lightning....but not a new front on an old truck.....i hate when people put new beds on em......but a navigator front??? if thats what it is........

 

Nasty, Nasty, NASTY!! talk about disrespecting a great line of trucks, as soon as i seen that last picture i could hear MY 76' F250 crying out side and blowing Taps on its horn!!

 

I replaced the plastic grill inserts in my 76 with the 73-75 argent ones. I found nos ones at the swap meet for $50 for the pair.

 

You have to admit that was a lot of work to get that front end on that truck, look's like crap but the guy did a good job.

 

i guess i can give props for effort, ive been seeing some crazy vehicle combos lately, just last week i seen a 97 (dare i say ) chevy Xcab truck with the front of a 53 chevy truck front end molded in, it was strange seeing that newer truck with an old faded barely blicking turn signal, i was amazed how he could even get the lines close,some people have too much free time.....

 

thats an aftermarket bolt on conversion... dont ask how i know that... i dont like to talk about it! but yeah that truck is horrible! i personally hate when anyone shaves any part of these trucks, much less bucher them like that!!! i almost lost my cookies seeing that truck! i think all of my 3 70s fords are crying, i must go comfort them.

 

Shoot I think one with a Super Duty front would be BaddA$$. I do think the Lincoln one is Nasty though.
