Y- Pipes Leaking
Hello Everyone, I just replaced my factory manifolds with headers and I cant get the y-pipes to stop leaking. When I say y-pipes i'm talking about where the exhaust connects to the header. I believe that is right. I have tried everything. They seem to be seated good. I have even used a floor jack to press them up tight but still leaking. Can anyone help before I take it to a professional?

I had this problem too if you're using the stock y-pipe. The collectors are a little closer together than the stock manifold. I had to cut the cross-over tube on the driver's side and then bolted up the passenger side, then cut off the excess from the driver's side so that it's butted up to each other and had it welded. Hope this helps.
