what kind of difficulty? I am pretty mechanical inclined dad is a mechanic if i need help.
i guess what is all involved with wireing these?
if anybody has pics of these let me know. how dumb do you think it would look if i used different kinds of gauges?
You'll have to drill a hole through the firewall to pass the lines. Various other drilling might need to take place.
You're going to have to drill a hole in the tranny to install the sender for the temp gauge. Where to install it depends on the tranny you have.
The oil temp gauge will be very tricky. There's no 'standard' place for it, and you can't use the oil pressure location. You'll have to drill and tap into the block.
As for the tach, you may want to look into swapping in a factory gauge cluster with a tach. Much easier to install.
