If you use a low(er) pressure injector it will fire sooner, so the timing changes. One thing, if you have a rod type knock with known old injectors installed, the knock most likely is caused by an early/weak injector. The early injection of fuel causes the fuel to be compressed and fire before TDC, but the engine rotation continues compressing that explosion. This causes the knock.......
Any time new injectors are installed I always get a IP/engine timing done.
