mounting thermocoupler
I need some input on mounting preturbo thermocouple. I have an '05 6.0. FTE did not send any instructions on hole size, drilling, weld bushing, keeping out shavings in exhaust etc. Some guys on site have mounted on exhaust manifold or up pipe. I have searched and get more confused. They sent me ISSPRO weld bushing 1/4" NPT R680. Thanks in advance.

i have a banks exhaust and it came with a bung post turbo but if you want to drill the manifold use alot of oil on the bit this will keep shavings from going to far and after you drill get a small mechanics magnet and run up the hole a couple of times to get all of them. here is the think on your install your find the one for R680 hope this helps. you can contact them also they might help you if you want to do that http://www.isspro.com/install.php
