03 Expy -full size spare different
I just removed my spare to check the air pressure and lo and behold it was a
different tire than the other four. Not only is it a blackwall instead of out line
white letter, it also has a different tread pattern. The size and the ratings
of the tire remain the same. Does anyone know anything about this.

I noticed the same thing this week while I was working on an 04 Expy. The (4) tires on the Expy were OWL Continental ContiTrac SUV's, while the spare was a blackwall ContiTrac TR. This was on a Special Services Expedition, but don't think that should matter.
