humming noise not fuel pump and I searched

ok, I have a 95 bronco with a 302 and a rebuilt e4od(month old). I now hear a semi loud humming noise from time to time. it starts, for the most part, after the first shift, and cooinsides with the rpms. If I put it in neutral, and hit the gas, it will go away after a while. Is this just a belt perhaps? I looked at them all and couldnt see anything too wrong with them. any help is appreciated.

Can you get it to happen when parked by reving the engine?

I had a noise like you describe, turned out to be one of the shrouds around a cat was loose. FWIW, good luck!
